Codefest (Donostia 2016)

Donostia / San Sebastian 2016 European Capital of Culture represents an enormous opportunity to turn the focus on culture and dialogue as the roads towards improved coexistence. Thus, Donostia / San Sebastian aims to become a benchmark in the sphere of creative processes and culture. Inside the programme, we are organising Codefest: Coding for Language Communities event, that will take place from 4th to 8th of July 2016 in Donostia / San Sebastián.

“Multimodal wordnets”, co-located with LREC

The workshop is organized by the Global WordNet Association (GWA). GWA is a free, public and non-commercial organization that provides a platform for discussing, sharing and connecting wordnets for all languages in the world.

NUBes: A Corpus of Negation and Uncertainty in Spanish Clinical Texts.

This paper introduces the first version of the NUB ES corpus (Negation and Uncertainty annotations in Biomedical texts in Spanish). The corpus is part of an on-going research and currently consists of 29,682 sentences obtained from anonymised health records annotated with negation and uncertainty. The article includes an exhaustive comparison with similar corpora in Spanish, and presents the main annotation and design decisions. Additionally, we perform preliminary experiments using deep learning algorithms to validate the annotated dataset.

EJIE galdera-erantzun sistema

euskadi.eus atarian Euskal Administrazioak eskuragarri dituen tramite edo zerbitzu bat atzitzerakoan herritarrei sortzen zaizkien galderei erantzuna bilatuko dien sistema bat garatzea da lan honen helburua. Sistema honek atarian bertan dagoen informazioa erabiliko du galdera horientzat erantzunik egokiena bilatzeko. Zehatzago esanda, atari osoan dauden hainbat FAQ web-orri berezituetan begiratuko du ea herritarrak egindako galderen antzekorik badagoen, eta sistemaren ustetan antzekoenak diren galderak eta hauei dagozkien erantzunak erakutsiko dizkio herritarrari.
